Hello Everyone. I hope you are having a blessed Easter break. I had started listing the Beatrix Potter Pigling Bland fabric collection a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, the bulk of my order was lost in shipment and I never received it. Thank goodness my supplier was able to get me the fabrics that were lost in transit. I have received a large shipment of the Pigling Bland fabric. I am busy listing it and I should have it all listed hopefully by this evening. To celebrate its arrival, this fabric collection will go on sale as part of the Fab Shop Hop tomorrow & Saturday.

More Mary Rose Paris Fabric & Pigling Bland Charm Tin Have Arrived at Sew Graceful!
The Mary Rose Paris collection is arriving a little at a time. Just listed new arrivals include a beautiful green bouquet fabric and a green tonal damask.
The Beatrix Potter Pigling Bland Charm Tin also arrived this past week. This cute, collectible tin includes thirty assorted 5"x5" charm squares. You also receive instructions for creating a mini doll size quilt. Additional fabric is needed to complete the quilt. Although I ordered more, I only received three of the charm tins and don't know if I will be able to get more.

Beatrix Potter's The Tale of Pigling Bland--Now a Fabric Collection!
I love Beatrix Potter, but unless you are a real Beatrix Potter fan, you have probably never heard of the Tale of Pigling Bland. First published in 1913, this is the story of poor Aunt Pettitoes who cannot afford to feed all eight of her piglets. She sends seven of them out into the world. Pigling Bland and his brother Alexander are sent to market to find a job with a farmer. Alexander misplaces his license and is promptly escorted away by the police. Pigling Bland finds his brother's license, but in trying to catch up with Alexander and the policeman gets lost in the woods. It is dark so he spends the night in a stranger's chicken coop. The next morning, the gruff farmer finds Pigling Bland and allows him to stay. However, Pigling Bland feels uneasy with the farmer. When Pigling Bland discovers that the farmer is hiding a beautiful black girl pig named Pig-wig, who he intends to turn into bacon and ham, Pigling Bland's fears are confirmed. The next morning Pig-wig and Pigling Bland escape from the farmer. The dance over the hills celebrating their freedom!
